Its true! My name is Keven van Zoen. My husband Pieter and I live in the greatest place on earth…no not DisneyLand…Portland Oregon. I was born and raised here and Pieter was born in Holland and raised in England, until I stole him away from the great U.K.We live in a lovely little apartment in NE along with our two cats Eskimo and Suki. Not far from Pieter’s brother Kjell and his wife Kim, who we enjoy Sunday evening family dinners with and many cups of tea.

I am currently in school full time working toward my bachelors in International Marketing. I’m working part time for the Graduate Business Programs Office at PSU as well.  This blog is to help fill the void of any spare time I have with cooking, DIY projects, and ridiculously cute photos of our cats.

I’ve named this blog Cafe van Zoen as such because one of our dreams is to some day own a cafe called Cafe van Zoen, which translated from Dutch means Cafe from Kiss.
